Tell us what you think on whether RFN should implement an age restriction policy.

I know you didn't ask for comments, but I voted no and wanted to give my reasoning. Back in 2001 I was 17 and started racing online. Had the age limit been 18, I never would have started racing online, maybe some of you think that would be a good thing, but I am all for letting people's actions speak, not their age.
I've seen a 12 year old kid win races and treat it like real racing and a 45 year old man go out and destroy everyone's car and laugh about it. Every person is different so putting an age limit I feel wouldn't be the best option. JMO.

Thank you for your input Chad. An age restriction would not be implemented just because on track behavior, we do not have any rules against swearing other than to keep chat an acceptable level during the race and no flaming. The issue relies more with the fact that if an individual under the age of 18 were running with us, I'm not going to go out of my way to alter rules just so the kid doesn't hear bad language. In the past back in 2009 a 13 yr old kid raced in the same league as me and I said "Fuck" and the kids parents immediately got on Teamspeak and started yelling and flaming at me for allowing their child to hear cuss words.

Maybe like instead of an age restriction you could do like a probationary deal for anybody under 18 or something for a certain amount of time. That way we can see there driving and just see if they (in Ian's words) fit the mold over here. Just my 2 cents
